Butterfly kiss felt necklace

During the last few years (in the mediterranean area) we felt like we just had two season, a really hot summer, and an infinite autumn..but funally this year it looks like season went back to normality. 

Now it's perfect springtime, sometimes raining and still cold, sometimes  sunny and deliciously warm..

So to celebrate.. I made another butterfly necklace. 

Spot the difference

Whenever I get a mental image of a necklace, I 'll draw it on paper and I make it in real size, in case I want to repeat it.
I usually prefer to make the design only once..but when I  repeat them, I always change some color or shapes, or move things around.
I like the fact that each of them are unique, and I like to think that if two person who bought the same model would meet..they would spend time checking for differences..

Sara Lechner's book

I bought this beautiful and inspiring book some times ago. 

Sara's blog is one of the first felt blogs I came across, and with the hope to be able one day  to make something so wonderful, I started to sew on felt.

So I have to say, thank you Sara! Sewing makes me very happy and relaxed! And watching your beautiful creations in your book, as well!
